APRIL NEWSLETTER
Dear Parents & Guardians,
Welcome back after the Easter holidays. Please find below a list of recent and upcoming events.
School Athletics: The annual John Manning Inter-school athletics competition will take place on Wednesday 25th April.
Temple Street Coffee Morning: Denise Lucia, Niamh Davison’s grandma is organising a cake sale in aid of the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Denise will be making various cakes that will be on sale on Friday 20th April in the school hall from 1:00 – 3:00pm. We would ask each child to bring €2.00 on the day. Parents are welcome to contribute by baking some cakes for sale or buying some of the treats for themselves. This is a very worthy cause and we would ask people to support it if you can.
R.S.E.Talks: The Relationship Sexuality Education talk is taking place this year for 5th and 6th class children and parents on Tuesday 14th June from 7:15pm – 9:15pm in the school hall. The talk will be delivered by qualified professional, Therese Fennessy.
School Matches: There will be a number of hurling and camogie matches coming up in the next few weeks. Our school policy is that we get buses for all matches. We ask for €2 per child to help with the cost of bus.
