World Book Day 2016

Kilchreest National School pupils are celebrating reading, books, authors and illustrators as part of World Book Day 2016. Pupils from Juniors Infants to Sixth Class have been coming together this week to appreciate reading and the benefits it brings them. Reading is very important to children, developing their mind, their imagination and ability to discover new things. Words that are read, written or spoken are the building blocks of life. The pupils will be receiving book tokens this week to go and buy their favourite book.

World Book Day 2016
