This year our local hurling club St Thomas’s are celebrating 50 years the club organised an art competition and kindly donated a prize for the best entry in each class an over all prize for the best entry in the entire school. We were delighted to again welcome Galway hurling captain & former pupil David Burke to the school to present the prizes The winners were as follows:
Junior Infants – Liam Burke
Senior Infants- Róisin Burke
1st class- Emily Clarke
2nd Class- Serena Burke
3rd class- Léa Guiller
4th class- Lee Kelly
5th Class – Riadh McPhilbin
6th class & over all winner – Róisin Doyle
